After travelling to over 30 countries, I can honestly say that The Chill Resort & Spa, in Koh Chang, Thailand, is one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed in, in terms of both design & service.

After travelling to over 30 countries, I can honestly say that The Chill Resort & Spa is one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed in, in terms of both design & service.
The entire atmosphere within the resort reflects the name perfectly, allowing you to completely relax, and unwind. As soon as the reception staff hand you your welcome drink, is the moment you switch off, and forget about the outside world for the entire duration of your stay.
One of my favourite features about this resort is the pool that runs the entire length of the resort, stretching right up to the beach front, where you will find an infinity pool for some of the most incredible sunsets you will ever see. I recommend you take a sunset swim, and watch the sunset with a cocktail in hand – the Poolside service was first class!

I stayed in two rooms here, the first being the jacuzzi suite, perfect for that romantic getaway, with a living room, separate bedroom, with a bed in the middle of the room, and a huge jacuzzi within the bathroom.

However my favourite room was the Splash Pool Access room, because you literally step a couple of metres from your bed, and you’re in the pool!

Waking up in the morning, and having direct pool access is amazing, and something I can’t recommend enough, and definitely needed in the tropical Thailand heat – take a look below.
One of my favourite things about staying in hotels across the world, is breakfast, but one of the most frustrating things is when breakfast finishes at 10am, meaning you have to jump out of bed, get ready and head for breakfast – it’s rushed, especially if you’re not a morning person… but not at The Chill.
The Chill serves ALL DAY BREAKFAST! Yeah, you heard that right, and this is the first time I’ve experienced this in a hotel too, no rush, no stress, just chill. Wake up whenever you want, and head down for breakfast, whenever you’re hungry.
The breakfast is Al La Carte, but UNLIMITED… seriously can this get any better? You don’t have to leave your seat, but the food doesn’t stop. Five course breakfast anyone?
It’s these small details, that make a huge difference, and separate The Chill Resort & Spa from many other hotels I’ve stayed in across the world. The attention to detail is phenomenal, the service is excellent, and the quality of the hotel is first class. You will not want to leave, I can guarantee that.
Overall Recommendation?
I would honestly class The Chill Resort & Spa as a 5 star resort – intimate, and pure luxury, with service that is second to none!
